Rushmoor Ringcraft & Junior Handling:

We are a very friendly and successful club with a membership of all ages and abilities. We teach Junior Handling from 7pm - 8pm and Ringcraft followed by Adult Handling 8pm - 10pm.

We also offer one-to-one Handling and Ringcraft sessions by special arrangement.

Our General Approach:

The cost: £2 per dog per night. Dogs are accepted from one week after their final inoculation (usually 12 or 13 weeks of age). Anyone can attend but you must be a member to participate. A membership of £7 per family does apply. This is to cover the cost of the insurance which is renewed at the end of April each year. The classes are very informal. There is no pressure to take an active part.

Members can train as much or as little as they wish, or they can just sit and watch and socialise their dogs.

The ringcraft classes have four aims:

1. To train new handlers and dogs for the show ring
2. To enable experienced handlers to train new puppies or to iron out handling problems
3. To give judges the opportunity to gain experience by going over various dogs
4. To act as a social club for local dog show enthusiasts
