Kodi - owned by Sue C

Kodi is our 2- year old Dobermann bitch. We started showing Kodi at 8 months, has she been to many companion shows and done very well, winning BIS at two of them and becoming the proud owner of some nice silverware.

So we decided to try the' real thing' and entered a number of Open and Championship shows. We must say Kodi has done her mum very proud, winning many first places and still as yet to be unplaced at any show.

Our proudest acheivement was at this years South East of England Dobermann Club Show where Kodi was placed 2nd out of 15 in Yearling, and qualified for Crufts 2009!

Our next big show is 3 Counties this June - stay tuned to find out what happened next!

The left photo is of Kodi's dad Dexter also owned by us who will be coming to club shortly as he is entered in the 3 Counties Champ Show as well . He has only done companion shows before where he has won many 'Most Handsome Dog' titles, but as he likes to come with us where ever we go we thought we'd enter him too, you never know!!

Misty - owned by Nigel W

Misty is my young Weimaraner bitch – my first show dog, although I have two other adult Weimaraners, Storm and Max.

We have campaigned Misty since she was 6 months old, being placed third in a minor puppy class at a WCGB Open show, her first ever show.

Her next show was WELKS, a Championship Show where she got a creditable VHC in Minor Puppy Bitch.

As a team we have travelled our “learning curve” together and have been showing since October 2007.

We joined Rushmoor Ringcraft in January 2008 to give Misty more “hands on” experience under the “judge” to boost her confidence, and for me to receive an education into the nuances and subtleties of ringcraft.

Within a few weeks of instruction we achieved our best ever moment to date which was a Reserve Best in Show at Oswestry & District Kennel Association in March 2008. Misty also won Best Puppy In Show at the same event, qualifying for Crufts 2009.

We have won many Firsts and a number of Best Of Breed at Open Shows up and down the country, and travel to Championship shows far and wide.
